Mindfulness for Stress Reduction Workshops
We offer workshops to help you reduce stress, and to empower you with stress management strategies based on Mindfulness. During some classes, we will incorporate Yoga postures that promote deep relaxation and stress reduction, as well as Ayurveda principles that can help restore balance.
These workshops can help you strengthen your resilience to stress, and navigate through uncertain and challenging times with more ease and confidence.
What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is more than just a tool. It is a way of life that teaches us to be aware of the present moment experience of your sensations, thoughts, feelings, and the surrounding environment non-judgmentally, with kindness and an open mind.
There are numerous evidence-based research about the benefits of mindfulness on our health and well-being, including reduced stress, increased productivity and creativity, improved relationships, and better decision making. Engaging in consistent mindfulness practice over a long period of time can result in increased resilience to stress, emotional self-regulation and concentration skills, as well as cultivation of wisdom, compassion and love.
A typical Mindfulness session includes a talk, guided mindfulness practices, sharing and discussions.
Mindfulness Workshops & Courses:
1) Introductory Workshops- monthly classes available
i) Finding Your Calm (75-min)
During this workshop, you'll learn what mindfulness is, 3 common misconceptions of mindfulness, and how mindfulness can experience more sense of calm and mental clarity, which can help you make better decisions and enjoy more inner peace.
You'll also experience guided mindfulness practices, including a 15-minute meditation. There will be time assigned for a brief Q&A session.
ii) Mindfulness for Self-Care (75-min)
During this workshop, we'll cover an overview of mindfulness and discuss how you can take better care of yourself on a holistic level. You'll also experience guided mindfulness practices, including a 15-minute meditation. There will be time assigned for a brief Q&A session.
iii) Mindfulness for Stress Relief (120 min)
During this workshop, you'll learn what mindfulness is and misconceptions about mindfulness, experience guided mindfulness practices including a 15-minute meditation, and learn the 3R's for stress reduction. There will be time assigned for sharing and Q&A.
You'll also be introduced to the Foundations of Mindfulness course.
2) Foundations of Mindfulness Course & Retreats
i) Mindfulness of the Body
You'll be introduced to the mind-body connection and mindfulness techniques that can help increase your concentration skills, and steady a restless mind.
ii) Stress Reduction through Mindfulness & Gentle Yoga Movements- available in early 2025
These day retreats are designed to empower you with tools to reduce stress, learn effective ways to manage stress which you can apply in your daily life to maintain good health and well-being.
You'll learn about stress, the effects of prolonged stress on your health mentally, emotionally, and physically, and the mind-body connection.
You'll also experience guided breathing and mindfulness practices, and gentle yoga movement practices that can induce deeper relaxation, which can help calm the nervous system, and restore balance.
By the end of this workshops, you'll gain knowledge and techniques that you can apply in your life and gain confidence to respond to daily stress and challenges in life.

Mindfulness Workshops
Mindfulness for
Success 101
During this 2-hour class, you'll learn the 3 key principles of mindfulness, Success Principle #1, and how your can create a passionate purposeful life of joy and fulfillment. It includes a 20-minute guided mindfulness practice, and a brief Q&A session held in English and Cantonese.
Foundations of Mindfulness Course
This is a 14-hour Foundations of Mindfulness course that involves 3-4 half-day sessions. Participants will learn about the foundations of mindfulness, as well as compassion and loving kindness. Each session will include a talk, guided mindfulness practices, and Q&A.
Introduction to Mindfulness for Youths
Utilizing the curriculum of Mindful Schools for classrooms, participants will learn what mindfulness is, its benefits, and three common misconceptions about mindfulness. You'll also experience short guided mindfulness practices. Each small-group session is 40 minutes in duration.
